I've taken classes in the University of Michigan's department of Communication Studies since my first semester in the fall of 2014. My classes have introduced  both qualitative and quantitative ways of approaching communication research and analysis, using written assignments as the foremost way to evaluate mastery of course concepts.

My written works within Communication Studies span a wide range of topics and formats. Most notable are critical analyses of mass media, an independent qualitative research project on feminism in young adult media, and a media industrial analysis of the newspaper industry and the influence of globalization and digitization--referred to as "dynamics of change."
